A brand new garden life, for a brand new house

“Take a 10m by 10m patch of tufted grass on a very steep hill and make a multi level entertaining space”
This new build house is constructed on a modern estate and not only overlooks the neighbours houses, but also towers 3 floors high. The design challenge was to create a modern garden, using curves, and to include lighting, a water feature and privacy.
We created 3 levels, a large oval deck which cuts beautifully into the house, a perfectly oval lawn and finally a lower seating area. The black limestone used in this project is a real luxury and gives the garden a very modern feel. Heavy planting makes for a low maintenance garden and creates definition between the spaces.
“There was never a reason to go down into the garden before, but now I cant get my husband out of it!”
The client really enjoyed seeing the garden come together, and we even went on a plant shopping trip to Manchester. The construction team performed their magic well, as ovals in a garden are notoriously difficult to achieve.
“I felt really comfortable with them, really nice and genuine guys, nothing too much trouble for them. I can’t fault them at all.”
